<p>Monica E. Ostrishko, age 80, of Wilmington, formerly of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 in the presence of her loving family.</p><p><br></p><p>Monica was part of the second graduating class of Padua Academy in 1960. She worked as a cashier and head bookkeeper for A&amp;P for 23 years where she met her husband. She then worked for Krapf and Son Construction, retiring in 2000.</p><p><br></p><p>Monica enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, crossword and jigsaw puzzles and most importantly spending time with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Monica is preceded in death by her parents James and Edith Aievoli; brothers, Tomasso and Dominick Aievoli; and son-in-law, Steve Koria.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Walt; daughters, Margaret Koria, Deb Quinn (Mark), and Kathy Dellinger (Chuck); brother, Nick Aievoli (Ann); sisters, Rosemarie Scott and Perry Durkin (Paul); grandchildren, Monica Allmond (Will), Kristi Felts (Steve), Erica Jenkins (Roger), Gina Dellinger (Joe), Ryan Barlow (Jill), Juli Dellinger (Justin), and Charlie Dellinger (Aly); great grandchildren, Andrew, Brayden, Liam, McKinley, Michael and Dominick; 15 step grand and great grandchildren and other extended family.</p><p><br></p><p>Services will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Nichols – Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804.
